Learn to make a fun little local multiplayer racing game in the Godot Game Engine! Canopy Cars is a 3D racer where up to four players compete while all using the same keyboard to control vehicles with very different handling.
Want to try the game out for yourself? Download the game free on our Itch.io page for PC, Mac and Linux!
In this course you'll learn how to set up the assets, create a vehicle template, make a level with Gridmaps and props, use VehicleBody nodes, control between 1 and 4 cars using the same simple script, install racing logic, create a vehicle selection lobby and much more.
This is a beginner to intermediate course; it assumes that students are reasonably familiar with basic concepts and guides them to create a fully playable 3D game.
Please note - this course is still in production. More videos are being added regularly!
